We are very excited to open during the Phase 2 re-opening process and cannot wait to see all of you beer friends, catch up and talk craft beer! With that said, your experience will be different than in times past for dine-in, hanging inside the taphouse. We have implemented all of the social-distancing and “Start Safe” guidelines in the taphouse as well as have put in place some of our own ‘house’ guidelines in order to provide safe service to ensure our staff and our guests at Final Draft Taphouse are safe and remain healthy.

As we have, we are taking this situation very seriously and want to share with all of you what changes you will see when you visit us now!

Table Seating Only/No Bar Seating - No bar seating will be allowed during Phase 2 Re-opening. This means everyone will need to order and find a table to enjoy their craft beer and relax.

5 people or less at a table - Per Washington State Law Phase 2 requirements, groups at tables can only be 5 people or less!

Order at the Bar in Designated Areas - We have designated areas to order once you are in the taphouse. Please adhere to these in order to ensure social distancing. This will also ensure that we are able to clean surface areas properly.

50% Capacity Only! And a Wait List! - During Phase 2 of the Re-Opening process in Washginton, we are only allowed to have dine-in capacity at 50 percent. If people are waiting, we will ask that guests limit their visits to one and one half hours. In addition, we will have a “wait-list” in which we will take your name, phone number and text you when the next available table is ready. We will not be taking reservations so this will be on a first come, first serve basis. You may want to call ahead to see where we are with capacity.

Taphouse phone: 360-433-9966

Adhere to all Social Distancing! Please adhere to all social distancing - Standing 6 feet apart at all times. We will have tables in the front and back rooms at the taphouse as well as outside in front of the taphouse. When moving about the taphouse, please keep 6 feet of distance between you and other beer friends!

Dear Beer Friends! Here is our latest on our new reality!

Hey Beer Friends – what a week we have all had.

We want to let you all know that we have always valued the health and safety of our employees and our guests and will continue to do so. We are unsure of the days and weeks ahead but what we do know is that we and our team will be here for you. We are open regular hours - modified as of March 17 (OPEN 3 to 8 pm for TO-GO BEER ONLY!), and we have some great beers on tap (we could all use a cold one right about now!?!).

We know that during this time small businesses will be hit the hardest so here are some things that you can do, if you can, to help support any small brewery/taphouse/pub/restaurant in our community. Things that you can do at this time: support all of us by coming in …if you’re healthy and feel comfortable doing so, grab beer and cider to go, purchase a gift card for future use if you are not going out at this time, purchase merchandise and sport your craft beer/Vancouver pride!

Thank you for always showing up for us. We are grateful for all of your love and support and inquires and for always being RAD! Mike & Kimberly

Meditation Vancouver, Wa. - Mindful Meditation & Beer

Meditation has been around as long as humans have been present. Meditation is simply a relaxed state of mind with no thought, completely present in the current moment, focused on the breath.  Meditation is the practice of thinking deeply or focusing one's mind for a period of time. The goal of meditation is to go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature—which is described as peace, happiness, and bliss. But as anyone who has tried to meditate knows, the mind itself is the biggest obstacle standing between ourselves and this awareness

Why meditate? Practicing meditation is a great way to bring more focus to the scatter-minded, more relaxation, peace, calm, and clarity!

Meditation & Beer? Why not?! Being able to find presence and community amongst like-minded people who will find time out in their day to come together to meditate and let it all go, just to have beer afterwards is an all around "feel good" zen situation. We meditate and then come together around a pint of craft beer, that building community and hopefully build lasting connections with those around you!

Meditation Monks meditate. Trappist monks make and consume beer. Meditation and beer go together. So that is why we created Zen Zythophiles (Lovers of Beer!) - Mindful Meditation & Beer!

Our Mindful Meditation & Beer events are the 4th Sunday of each month and are led by Yogi Yuliya! Registration is required in advance.

For more information and to register, check out our Meditation & Beer page!

Join us to become Zen Zythophiles too!

Craft Beer Vancouver, Wa.

There is a lot of craft beer to love in Vancouver, Wa. We pride ourselves on having a great craft beer selection from Vancouver, Wa., greater Washington and Oregon. We focus on having local, independent craft beer on our 30 taps. We have additional craft beer in our fridge, including bottles of craft beer and 16 oz cans of craft beer.

When you come to our taphouse, whether you know the craft beer we have or not, we will find you a craft beer that you enjoy. Our beertenders are beer guides and enjoy helping you find a beer that fits your palate or allows you to explore craft beer and find something new (to you) that you enjoy!

Craft Beer & Writing | NaNoWriMo Location

Here at Final Draft Taphouse, we encourage people to tell stories, write stories, create stories, film stories, and/or share stories how ever you choose! The power of stories is great! Storytelling is the oldest form of making connections and making sense of the world around us!

Stories have always been naturally told at pubs, bars, and we are very intentionally about creating a taphouse where people can share their stories. One of the ways we do that is with our writing group Brews ‘N Write-In. On a monthly basis on the first Monday of each month, we host a Brews ‘N Write-In meet up event. Writers of all kinds are invited to come and write together while having a pint! It’s a casual setting but the writers write! We do this because we understand just how hard it is find time to write, so this write-in group is meant to encourage people to write and come together and meet other writers!

What do craft beer and writing have in common? Well, for one, they are two of Final Draft’s co-owner Kimberly’s loves! Second, they are both forms of art and bring people together! One thing that we are doing for the month of November is being a “Come Write In” Location for NaNoWriMo! One our your Brews N Write-In regular attendees/writers is a faithful NaNoWriMo writer and brought it up to the group a last year. Encouraging everyone to consider the challenge, several of the Brews N Write-In have decided to commit to writing every day in November.

Therefore, we have decided to become an official NaNoWriMo Location.

What does that mean for us? That means you are welcome to come and write anytime in our taphouse during the month of November. In addition, we have designated a few times for all of us to gather in the backroom for NaNoWriMo.

Those times are:

  • Monday, November 11 - 6:30 -8:30 pm

  • Thursday, November 21 - 6:30 - 8:30 pm

  • Saturday, November 30 - 1-4 pm

We will have our specific Brews N Write In as we always do on November 4. We hope you will join us in writing whether it be just on November 4 or throughout the month. Happy Writing!
