BACK by Popular Demand….a special November 2022 Brews ‘N Write In! Calling all Writers AND all who need or want to slow down and take a little time to write down some thoughts….
Anyone else feel like they could write a book after these last few years? Kidding, Not Kidding! We’ve gathered a lot of stories up these last few years, that is for sure. In honor of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month – November), a lot of requests for our Brews ‘N Write-In event to come back (we haven’t hosted one since May 2020….!!!!), and because at Final Draft Taphouse, Storytelling Matters!….we believe everyone has a story to tell and stories are the way we all connect, we are bringing back this one-off write-in so we can get some words out of US and down on paper!
If you’re not already familiar with this event, here are the details….
Join us for this special….
Brews ‘N Write-in EVENT! This event is a great way to hone your writing skills, embrace the benefits of free-writing, write that story you’ve always wanted to write, and set aside a time to write ….your blog posts, your poems, the start of your book …..all the while sipping on a craft beer/cider/seltzer/wine to spur your creativity!
For those who might be hesitant or who discover writer’s block in the moment, we will have a writing topic/exercise that you will be able to write about if nothing else is coming to you! (Sometimes just writing anything will get your creativity flowing!)
Our format will be 30-10-30-10. We write for 30 minutes, talk/break for 10, then repeat! If people want to stay beyond this time, for writing, connecting and having pints together, everyone is welcome to do so!
While this event is casual and relaxed, we do want people to have the space and time to write so we will get quickly settled in and then get to writing right off the bat. Please arrive EARLY to get a beer and food!
This group is to motivate, inspire like-minded people to put pen to paper or fingers to the keyboard to write those stories who’ve always wanted to get into the world!
And it’s a great way to meet others who love to write and get the inspiration you need to get to Write-ING!
